MANHATTAN — Kansas State basketball has been drama-filled in recent weeks, while the play on the court hasn’t been too much fun for Wildcats fans to watch. Now, they’ll host one of the best teams in the country.

No. 9 Iowa State visits Manhattan on Sunday, Feb. 1, for a 1 p.m. CT tip at Bramlage Coliseum. The Cyclones have been one of the nation’s most consistent teams, featuring a player considered a contender for the Naismith National Player of the Year award.

Kansas State (10-11, 1-7 Big 12), meanwhile, has lost its last two games and sits at the bottom of the Big 12 standings.

Iowa State (19-2, 6-2 Big 12) looks like a team that can go on a deep NCAA Tournament run come March. The Cyclones have won their last three games by double digits, two of them by 30, including their 97-67 win over Colorado on Jan. 29.
