Mansfield Town have turned Tyler Roberts’ loan from Birmingham City into a permanent deal that runs until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old forward was originally signed on a season-long loan and his new terms will have the same end point.
Roberts has scored three goals in nine appearances during what has been an injury disrupted spell at the One Call Stadium so far.
He has not featured since November because of a calf problem, but hopes to make his return “very soon” having rejoined training recently.
Roberts joined Birmingham in the summer of 2023 from Leeds United and featured 21 times for Blues.
