Wrexham playmaker Elliot Lee joins League One strugglers Doncaster on loan

The playmaker was named in Wrexham’s 25-man squad submitted to the EFL for the first half of the season but he has not featured at all in the Championship.
Restricted to three starts in the League Cup, Lee underwent knee surgery in November and the 31-year-old was replaced in the squad by Jay Rodriguez in December due to being sidelined.
He has since returned to full training and is heading out on loan to League One strugglers Doncaster in a bid to get regular game-time with opportunities limited at The Racecourse.
Lee, a back-to-back-to-back promotion winner with Wrexham where he is under contract until the end of the 2026-27 campaign, has netted 36 goals in 129 league appearances for the Reds, and he finished top scorer in 2024-25.
