Warning of snow and strong winds for parts of Scotland

The Met Office has warned that parts of Scotland are facing fresh snowfall and strong winds.
It has issued a yellow weather warning , externalstarting at midnight on Monday and ending at 15:00 on Wednesday for mainland Scotland and Orkney, and a separate warning starting at 18:00 on Tuesday for Shetland, external.
The Highlands, Moray, Aberdeenshire and Perth and Kinross, which are some of the areas covered by the warning, have already seen disruption caused by snow, rain and flooding since the start of the year.
The Met Office said some places could have up to 2in (5cm) of snow by Wednesday, with accumulations of 8in (20cm) on higher ground.
