Ruben Roosken joins Oxford United from Huddersfield Town

Oxford United have signed defender Ruben Roosken on loan from Huddersfield for the rest of the season.
The deal includes an option to buy that could turn into an obligation to sign him should certain conditions be met.
The 25-year-old has made 40 appearances for the Terriers since signing in early 2025, scoring three goals and assisting on eight occasions.
Roosken will link up with former team-mate Brian De Keersmaecker, who he played with at Dutch side Heracles Almelo.
Roosken told the club website: “This is a really exciting move for me and one I can’t wait to get started on.
“I’m an ambitious player and I’ve come to Oxford with a real desire to help bring success this season and beyond.
“I want to contribute quality, embrace the challenge, and help the club immediately.”
