Zach Bryan at Snapdragon Stadium: 10 things to know if you’re going to Friday or Saturday’s concerts

Chart-topping country music sensation Zach Bryan will achieve several firsts when he performs at Snapdragon Stadium Friday and Saturday.

A 30-year-old native of Okinawa, Japan, Bryan is the first former U.S. Navy Petty Officer Second Class to headline the Mission Valley venue — and the first artist in any genre to do so for two consecutive nights. He will also be the first to perform there on a circle-in-the-round stage that will place him and his band on the center of the pitch at Snapdragon, the home field for the San Diego Wave and San Diego Wave FC soccer teams.

Here is everything you need to know if you are going to either of Bryan’s concerts here this weekend.

1. Friday and Saturday’s concerts at Snapdragon Stadium start at 6:30 p.m. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. both days. The opening acts are Ryan Bingham & The Texas Gentlemen and Fey Fili. Tickets for both concerts are priced from $168.20-$465.20 and are available at ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available at the box office at Snapdragon.

2. The Snapdragon parking lot will open at 2:30 p.m. both days and tailgating is allowed. Parking costs $60.30 per car and $241.05 per RV. Parking passes can be purchased online in advance. Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase pre-sold parking in advance online or to plan on taking the San Diego Trolley Green Line to the stadium. Onsite parking is limited and is expected to sell out.

3. Snapdragon is a cashless facility and credit or debit cards must be used for all purchases. Reverse ATMs are available at the stadium to load cash onto a prepaid debit card to use at the venue’s concession and retail locations.

4. Only mobile tickets are accepted at Snapdragon and screenshots and PDFs of tickets will not be accepted. Tickets should be downloaded to your mobile wallet before arriving at the concert. Your tickets can be located through the Snapdragon Stadium app: snapdragonstadium.com/connect/download-our-app. Tickets purchased at the stadium box office will also be digital and will be sent directly to your email and cellphone.

5. Once inside the stadium, you can use the same app to determine the easiest route to your seat, concessions and restrooms.

6. Concertgoers with non-field tickets can enter through the Northwest Gate, North Gate, Northeast Gate or the Alaska Airlines Gate. All concertgoers with floor tickets must enter through the south portion of the East Lawns, via the concourse fencing extension. Upon arrival, guests with floor tickets will have their tickets scanned and receive a field access wristband. Once inside the stadium, guests may access the field through sections 101–113, located on the east side.

7. Snapdragon has an 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday night curfew. There will be extended San Diego Trolley service from the stadium, with departures every 15 minutes and extra trips added as needed until the crowd diminishes. The last Green Line westbound departure after Friday ‘s concert will be at 12:22 a.m. Saturday and the last Green Line westbound departure after Sunday’s concert will be at 12:22 a.m. Sunday. The last eastbound trip to SDSU will be at 12:07 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The last two scheduled Copper Line eastbound trolleys to Santee will depart Friday and Saturday at 11:10 p.m. from El Cajon Transit Center, with additional trips as needed. Concertgoers needing to connect to the Copper Line must board the Green Line eastbound at 10:37 from Stadium Station and Sunday at 12:18 a.m.

The night’s last scheduled Blue Line trolley trip from Old Town to UTC will be at 11:31 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The last Blue Line departure for San Ysidro from Old Town will be at 11:43 p.m. Friday and Saturday. More information is available at: sdmts.com/rider-info/events/zach-bryan

8. Before the show, rideshare and passenger drop-off will be available on Mission Village Drive. After the show, all rideshare and passenger pick-up will take place in the Purple Lot.

9. Water bottles, whether full or empty, cannot be brought into the concert. Snapdragon is a clear-bag-only venue and only small bags that meet specific size restrictions are allowed. 10. Comfortable shoes are recommended. As at any stadium event, concertgoers will need to do a fair amount of walking to and from their seats, and to restrooms and food and beverage outlets.
