Harry Styles dons Jonathan Anderson’s Dior to present Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards

The singer, who recently released his new single, Aperture from his new album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, appeared at the Los Angeles ceremony to hand over the honour to Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny.

The record Debí Tirar Más Fotos became the first Spanish-language album to win Album of the Year.

During his time on stage, Styles wore new designs from Jonathan Anderson for the French fashion house Dior.

Anderson (41) was appointed creative director of the luxury brand last year, becoming the first head of the house to oversee men’s, women’s and accessories collections since Christian Dior himself.

The former One Direction band member wore Anderson’s Summer/Spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection — including the Dior Bar Jacket in Gray Virgin Wool, which retails for £3,500, alongside a pair of the French brand’s jeans, which retail for around £800-900.

He also wore a pair of lime green ballet slippers from the brand.

The pieces come from Anderson’s second menswear line, which was unveiled at Paris Fashion Week last month and which was described as exploring “the idea of a new aristocracy”.

A number of famous faces attended the Magherafelt man’s show in the garden of the Rodin Museum in the French capital, including Batman actor Robert Pattinson and Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton.

Also in attendance to see the work of his fellow Northern Irishman was Hollywood actor Jamie Dornan.

Harry Styles’ Grammys appearance is his first since 2023, when he won Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Harry’s House.

His new album will be released on March 6, while in May, he will kick off his Together, Together World Tour which beings in Amsterdam and then heads to London, São Paulo, Mexico City and New York City — where he will perform a recording-breaking 30 shows, before finishing off in Melbourne, and Sydney.

Last week, Anderson, who attended Rainey Endowed School in Magherafelt, told British Vogue for its March edition about the pressure, competition and the personal cost of his creative work since becoming one of the world’s top fashion designers.

“I’ve always operated in my life as an underdog, and if I’m not in the feeling of an underdog, I will construct an environment around myself so that I feel like I have to prove something,” Anderson said.

He also said that despite the scale of his position, the responsibility has intensified rather than eased the pressure he feels.

“I have never been under so much pressure,” he said, explaining that the strain does not only come from the demands of the role but from a broader sense that fashion is expected to justify itself.

“It was not coming from myself or from the brand. It was coming from the way everyone feels at the moment that fashion needs to be saved.”

Anderson linked that drive back to his upbringing in Northern Ireland, describing a family shaped by competitiveness. His father, Willie Anderson, captained the Irish national rugby team, while his brother also pursued the sport.

Reflecting on that environment, Anderson said: “Watching my brother and my father’s relationship — the competitiveness — I always was like, ‘Thank God I wasn’t into rugby.’”
