Scotland open against Uruguay in Melbourne on 3 October

The Docklands Stadium in Melbourne will host Scotland as they open their Rugby World Cup 2027 campaign against Uruguay on Sunday, 3 October.
The pool-stage draw took place in November, but now it has been announced that the opening match will kick-off at 07:15 BST (17:15 local time).
A week later, Gregor Townsend’s side will take on Ireland at Perth Stadium, Perth, with the kick-off at 10:45 BST (17:15 local time).
Their final group game, against Portugal, will be played at Brisbane Stadium, Brisbane, with a 07:15 BST kick-off (16:15 local time).
Round of 16 matches will take place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 October.
Should they finish first in Pool D, Scotland will play at Docklands Stadium, Melbourne, on 24 October.
If they are second, they will play at the Docklands Stadium, Melbourne, the day previous.
Should they be one of best third-place teams, they will play at Perth Stadium on 23 October.
The tournament final will take place on Saturday, 13 November at Stadium Australia in Sydney.
