Final Injury Report for Timberwolves-Grizzlies: Will Anthony Edwards, Jaren Jackson Jr. Play?

The Minnesota Timberwolves are on the road on Monday night as they travel to take on the Memphis Grizzlies in a Western Conference matchup.
Minnesota enters Monday’s game with a 31-19 record after defeating Memphis on the road on Saturday night.

In Saturday’s victory over the Grizzlies, Anthony Edwards led the way for the Timberwolves as he recorded 33 points and three assists while Julius Randle added 27 points, seven rebounds and seven assists of his own.
Now Minnesota will try to grab another victory on the road on Monday as they face off against the Grizzlies once again.
On the other side, Memphis enters Monday’s contest with an 18-29 record after losing at home to the Timberwolves on Saturday night.

Ty Jerome led the way for the Grizzlies in Saturday’s loss as he ended the game with 20 points and six assists while GG Jackson recorded 19 points, four rebounds and five assists off the bench.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Monday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Timberwolves, they have three players listed on their injury report, including both Edwards and Randle.

Minnesota has listed Edwards as questionable due to back spasms and he is in danger of missing his first game since January 26.
If Edwards is sidelined, Mike Conley could draw a start in his place while Bones Hyland could have an increased role off the bench.
The Timberwolves have also listed Randle as questionable due to left thumb soreness and he is in danger of missing his first game of the season.

If Randle is sidelined, Naz Reid and Leonard Miller could both be in line for increased roles for the Timberwolves.

Terrence Shannon Jr. has been ruled out as he remains sidelined while recovering from a left foot sprain.

On the other side, the Grizzlies have seven players listed on their injury report, including Jaren Jackson Jr.

Memphis has listed Jackson Jr. as questionable due to a left quad contusion and he is in danger of missing his second consecutive contest.
If Jackson Jr. is sidelined once again on Monday, Jock Landale and Jackson could both be in line for increased roles.

The Grizzlies have ruled out Santi Aldama due to right knee injury management as he will miss his fourth straight game while Ja Morant, Zach Edey, Brandon Clarke, John Konchar and Scotty Pippen Jr. all remain sidelined while recovering from injuries.
