WTA Ostrava Quarterfinal Predictions Including Caty McNally vs Tamara Korpatsch

It should be a terrific WTA Ostrava quarterfinal day. Three Americans, including French Open champion Coco Gauff’s former doubles partner, Caty McNally, are among those scheduled to play. Katie Boulter will also take to the court in the Czech Republic. We here at LWOT predict all four matches in this article. Who do you think will advance?

WTA Ostrava Quarterfinal Predictions

Alycia Parks vs Katie Volynets

Head-to-head: Parks 2-0 Volynets

There could not be a more evident clash in styles for this matchup–Parks’s powerful serve and groundstrokes against Volynets’s grit and defensive skills. Volynets, the younger of these Americans, has a solid return, which gives her a chance. However, the 24-year-old’s weak serve and lack of firepower make Parks winning against her for a third consecutive time the most likely outcome.
Prediction: Parks in 3

Katie Boulter vs Linda Fruhvirtova

Head-to-head: First meeting

Both women were superb in the previous round. Boulter defeated Viktorija Golubic 6-2 6-2 while Fruhvirtova beat Rebecca Sramkova 6-3 6-1. Despite Fruhvirtova’s impressive level against Sramkova, Boulter is backed to win this. After a poor 2025, thrashing a good opponent like Golubic felt like a turning point. Her Czech opponent also tends to struggle against powerful hitters.
Prediction: Boulter in 2

Diane Parry vs Nikola Bartunkova

Head-to-head: First meeting

Parry only dropped three games against Panna Udvardy in one of her best performances during the past 12 months. She will face an opponent who has won seven of her last eight matches, including triumphs against Belinda Bencic and Daria Kasatkina. I feel this could be where Bartunkova loses momentum. Parry’s heavy topspin forehand and one-handed backhand are unique in the women’s game. It matches up well against Bartunkova if she plays at a high level again.
Prediction: Parry in 3

Caty McNally vs Tamara Korpatsch

Head-to-head: First meeting

Korpatsch dominated the rallies expertly against the gritty Emiliana Arango in the previous round. This will be an entirely different matchup, though. McNally’s has a much better serve, uses variety, and is willing to move forward. I doubt Korpatsch can make the necessary adjustments to beat McNally, whose best chance of winning a singles title in 2026 could be in Ostrava.
Prediction: McNally in 2
