Luke Combs Cancels Super Bowl Show, Gives Reasons

Luke Combs has decided to skip the Super Bowl performance this year. Fans were looking forward to his act at the Madden Bowl concert at the Chase Center in San Francisco. However, he has dropped the plan now due to an important reason.

Here’s why Luke Combs will no longer perform in the Super Bowl week show

Luke Combs won’t be performing at the Super Bowl LX on Friday, February 6, 2025, to prioritize his wife Nicole Hocking Combs. The couple is currently expecting their third child, and the musician was needed amid the pregnancy. EA Sports took to their Instagram page to announce this shocking news, a day ahead of the big night. They wrote in a joint post with Zach Bryan, “Update: Luke has to hold it down at home with a new one on the way.” The post further went, “All love for Luke and his family — and we can’t wait to put on an unforgettable #MaddenBowl with @zachlanebryan leading an incredible night of music and football for the fans.”

Moreover, the “One Number Away” singer reshared the post to apologize for his absence. He said, “So sorry to miss y’all at Madden Bowl, but family always comes first. Have a great time.” Talking about the concert, musicians like Zach Bryan, Teddy Swims, Gavin Adcock, Stephen Wilson Jr, and LARussell will be performing. Previously, Combs expressed guilt for not being there during the birth of his second child.

The country singer said on The Zane Lowe Show, “I’ll never forget the craziest day, probably, in my life. One of the best and one of the worst days in my life at the same time.” “I’m in Sydney, Australia, in a hotel room,” he continued. The 35-year-old further shared, “I probably woke up at around 8:00 a.m. Australia time, and I had a text from my wife, and it said, ‘I’m so sorry, I really tried to not have the baby while you’re gone.” Combs exclaimed, “God, dude, it sucked.”
