Connor Storrie Is Heating Up Saturday Night Live! About His Hosting Debut

From the Olympics to Saturday Night Live, Heated Rivalry is officially everywhere.
How to Watch
Watch Saturday Night Live Saturdays at 11:30/10:30c on NBC and next day on Peacock.
Connor Storrie and his co-star Hudson Williams killed it in their NBC late night debuts, crushed their bit at the Golden Globes, will undoubtedly succeed at carrying the Olympic Torch on February 6. And SNL has announced that Storrie gets the chance to show off yet another side of himself by hosting SNL.
The news came during Alexander Skarsgård’s January 31 episode: Connor Storrie will headline the first Season 51 episode following the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, bringing the Canadian hockey romance and its massive, dedicated fanbase to Studio 8H.

Connor Storrie is hosting Saturday Night Live on February 28
SNL is taking a few weeks off to air the 2026 Winter Olympics, which run from February 6 – 22 on NBC and Peacock. And yes, there will be hockey.
Who is Connor Storrie?
Actor Connor Storrie stars in Canadian romance drama Heated Rivalry as Russian hockey player Ilya Rozanov. The show follows the secret relationship between Rozanov and Canadian player Shane Hollander (Williams) and has taken the world by storm, skyrocketing Storrie and Williams to fame practically overnight.
“I think anyone can really click into the idea of love and what’s expected of you,” he told Seth Meyers on Late Night of the show’s appeal. “And in this case, it’s being a professional hockey player. I think people can click into being like, ‘How I am, what I want is not really what’s expected of me.'”
While Storrie has appeared in projects like Tiny Beautiful Things and Joker: Folie à Deux, Heated Rivalry is his first major role.
“I just feel really really honored,” the actor told Meyers. “I’ve worked in restaurants for years and years, up until I booked this. If Heated Rivalry did not go this well, I was already planning on getting a new job in a few months. So just to be able to act and get paid to do what I want to do and have enough money or resources to film my own things, it’s made. It’s made for me.”

Who the Musical Guest for Connor Storrie’s SNL episode?
Mumford & Sons.
The folk rock band has headlined SNL three times since 2012, when they made their debut with Host Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Their most recent performance was during Jason Momoa’s Season 44 episode, though lead singer Marcus Mumford did cameo when wife Carey Mulligan hosted in 2021 during Season 46. Mumford & Sons’ sixth album, Prizefighter, comes out February 20.

Will Hudson Williams join Connor Storrie on SNL?
We have no idea. This season has brought several fun costar cameos: Finn Wolfhard brought Stranger Things cast mates Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin to his episode, while Skarsgård’s hosting debut featured his dad Stellan Skarsgård and BFF Jack McBrayer.
Williams has already excitedly reacted to the news of Storrie hosting, responding to the Instagram announcement with, “MY BABY BOY ON SNL WHOOOOOO!!!!” and a heart eyes emoji. So wherever Williams will be on February 28, he will no doubt be cheering his “baby boy” on.
