Raptors newcomer Jackson-Davis available vs. Pacers as Poeltl, Quickley questionable

Jakob Poeltl is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Indiana Pacers (Sportsnet ONE, 3 p.m. ET / noon PT) after going through a full practice on Saturday, Sportsnet’s Blake Murphy reported.

According to Murphy, the team is now waiting for Poeltl to get his conditioning back before officially getting him back into game action.

However, point guard Immanuel Quickley has also been listed as questionable after spraining his ankle in practice.

Poeltl, 30, has been out since Dec. 21 after re-aggravating a back injury that has plagued him all season. He played only seven minutes in that game against Brooklyn before exiting.

In his limited 21 games, he is averaging 9.7 points and 7.7 rebounds and 0.5 blocks, the lowest mark since his rookie season. He has played only 25.3 minutes per contest.

Poeltl signed a four-year, $84-million contract extension on July 1 that kicks in next season.

Quickley, meanwhile, has been a key contributor for the Raptors, averaging 17.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.3 steals in 50 games.

The 26-year-old has had a solid bill of health this season, missing only three games with injury.

Though Poeltl’s health remains in doubt, trade deadline acquisition Trayce Jackson-Davis is available to make his Raptors debut Sunday, according to Murphy.

Jackson-Davis, 25, was acquired Wednesday from the Golden State Warriors for a 2026 second-round pick.

The third-year big was averaging 4.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 11.4 minutes in 36 games with the Warriors before the trade.
