A 15-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a teacher was stabbed at a school.
Milford Haven Comprehensive School in Pembrokeshire was placed in temporary lockdown on Thursday afternoon following reports of an assault on a teacher by a pupil brandishing a weapon.
The boy, who cannot be named due to his age, appeared at Swansea Magistrates’ Court on Saturday also charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article on education premises.
He was remanded in youth detention accommodation and is due to appear at Swansea Crown Court on Monday.
The teacher, who was named in court as Vicky Williams, has since been discharged from hospital.
