Wrestleview is sad to have learned that long-time WWE employee Jim Shank has passed away last Friday (2/6), at age 60 from colorectal cancer.
Shank, who had been on the production side of WWE had been with the company for over 26 years. He started with WWE in November 1999 and most recently held the position of Technical Operations Manager. He was very beloved behind the scenes and was said to have been one of the most nicest people to work with.
Last year, WWE employees and Shank’s friends raised over $200,000 in a GoFundMe Campaign to assist with Shank’s medical expenses for a new therapy process he was undergoing.
Wrestleview sends it’s condolences to the family and friends of Jim Shanks during this difficult and sad time.
