A 53-year-old Winnipeg man is facing charges after being removed from an Air Canada flight from Toronto bound for London – Heathrow that diverted to St. John’s.
The accused was escorted off the flight by members of the RNC.
Andrey Sokadeev is charged with assault, uttering threats and unruly or dangerous behaviour under the Aeronautics Act.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court today.
