A massive victory for Falkirk, who move level on points with fifth-placed Hibernian.
They had to dig that one out, and rely on a 95th-minute penalty miss from Yan Dhanda, but John McGlynn won’t be complaining.
Dundee had the better of the contest for long spells, but their encouraging build-up play and work down the flanks did not yield many clear-cut opportunities.
Ben Broggio’s well taken finish separates the sides, with the Aston Villa loanee netting his first goal for the club.
With Kilmarnock doing the job against St Mirren, Dundee are just three points above the Ayrshire side in the relegation play-off place.
