Abbey Clancy’s steamy Valentine’s Day plans with Peter Crouch were ruined.
The England footy legend tied the knot with the model in 2011 and are now proud parents to their four kids. Abbey has revealed she tried to rock Peter’s world with a saucy Valentine’s strip tease – but he accidentally ruined the moment by hiring a private chef.
She’s stripped down to lingerie and had planned to unravel it in front of the former Liverpool striker. But she noticed was forced to cover up with a coat for the whole of their romantic dinner.
She told The Sun: “That was the worst surprise ever because I got a gorgeous outfit from Agent Provocateur and just put it on with a coat on top. And Pete was like ‘Surprise! We’ve got a chef’. So I had to just wear my coat for the whole dinner — at home.

“I had to wear my coat for the whole meal in my own house. And I was literally sweating because I was so worried.”
Asked if she was in a Burberry Mac, Abbey admitted: “Yeah, I was. That was highly embarrassing. And he kept asking ‘Aren’t you hot in that coat?’”
Peter eventually realised why she wasn’t able to take off her coat but at that point it was too late and they felt too awkward to tell him to leave. Peter said: “You know when they come over and they want to explain the meal. It’s like ‘p*** off mate, will you’.”

Abbey and Peter were discussing how couples shouldn’t feel pressured to go out on Valentine’s and that nights in can be just as romantic. She said on their Therapy Crouch podcast: “That is nice, to stay in.”
Peter has admitted he loves the idea of coming home to his wife naked. “It’s easy to surprise me,” he told The Sun.
“If I came home and you had no clothes on, it’d be the best surprise ever. It’s so simple and I’ll be so happy. I’m just being honest.”
It’s not the first time Abbey has put the moves on Peter with a sexy coat. She once recalled the time she picked him up from training wearing nothing but a Burberry mac – a tactic which he conceded “worked very well”.
