Silent Hill Transmission Livestream is Being Held on February 12

A special Silent Hill Transmission live stream is being held this week on Thursday, February 12. The live stream will focus on the latest from Silent Hill, including the upcoming Silent Hill: Townfall.
Announced on X (formerly Twitter), No Code Games and Annapurna Interactive will unveil new details regarding Silent Hill: Townfall after announcing the game back in 2022. In partnership with Silent Hill owners Konami, the Silent Hill Transmission live stream is taking place on February 12 at 4 PM ET/1 PM PT.
We are excited to reveal the latest updates from the Silent Hill series in a new Silent Hill Transmission,” the company says in the post. It’s unknown if the Silent Hill Transmission will cover any other games or announcements. Last year, 4Gamer sat down with series producer Motoi Okamoto, who stated that Konami’s goal was to have a new Silent Hill game “per year.”
Last year, NeoBard Entertainment and Konami released Silent Hill f, which recieved critical and audience acclaim. The year prior, Bloober Team launched its Silent Hill 2 remake. This, once again, was highly regarded by players.
We don’t know a ton about Silent Hill: Townfall aside from it being a smaller-scaled installment when compared to the aforementioned games. As developed by No Code and published by Konami and Annapurna, it’s likely that the game won’t be made to be the traditional Silent Hill experience.
The timing of the Silent Hill Transmission arrives slightly before this week’s PlayStation State of Play event. Earlier this week, PlayStation announced a one-hour State of Play, featuring “eye-catching third-party and indie games headed to PS5, along with the latest from teams at PlayStation Studios.” So, it’s probably safe to assume whatever comes from the Silent Hill Transmission may also be featured during the State of Play.
The official post states that the “streaming link is coming soon so stay tuned!”
