Kyle Larson responds to wife’s beer-chugging role in NASCAR promo

Kyle Larson has praised his wife, Katelyn Sweet, for her acting in NASCAR’s 2026 season promo video, in which she shotgunned a can of Coca-Cola.
Other NASCAR drivers that were featured in the video included Bubba Watson, Ryan Blaney, Carson Hocevar and Ross Chastain. And Larson’s performance saw him acting alongside his wife, Katelyn Sweet.
The pair appeared in the promotion video with Larson doing doughnuts in his car around Sweet, who shotgunned a can of Coca-Cola while Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Free Bird played in the background.
And ahead of the 2026 season, Larson has explained he was delighted to feature in the promo video alongside his wife, praising her performance.
“Yeah, it was just fun to get to do something with a family member of mine,” said Larson, who shares three children with Sweet.
“And then I even got to do a Roto Rooter commercial the next week with my kids and both of those were really cool.
“Katelyn really surprised me because she really enjoyed it and she was really into it. She did a great job with her performance, so it was fun and cool the way it turned out.
He added: “You don’t really know how it’s going to turn out when you are doing it, but they pieced it together really good and I think it was a great way to promote the sport and promote the event.”
While Busch is set to start on pole on Sunday, Larson will start in seventh.
