Driver taken to hospital after crash on A2 Boughton Bypass between Faversham and Canterbury

A driver has been taken to hospital following a crash on the A2.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene on the Boughton Bypass in Dunkirk, between Faversham and Canterbury.

One lane was closed coastbound, and there was slow-moving traffic on the route.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called at 2.11pm today to a report of a two-vehicle collision on the A2 Boughton Bypass near Dunkirk.

“Officers attended alongside paramedics, and one lane was briefly closed whilst the incident was attended to. The road has since fully reopened.

“Minor injuries were reported, and one driver was taken to a local hospital.”
