Emergency services at scene of bus crash in Brading, Isle of Wight

Police are at the scene of a bus crash on the Isle of Wight.

Emergency services were called to reports of a bus leaving the road and rolling onto its side at 7:49am this morning (Thursday 19 February).

It happened on Marshcombe Shute in Brading.

A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.49am today, 19 February, to reports of a bus leaving the road and rolling onto its side.

“To enable us to deal with this incident, a road closure has been put in place from Morton Road until the junction with the B3395.

“Please take an alternate route if possible.”

Police have not confirmed how many people were onboard at the time of the collision or if there are any reported injuries.
