Final Injury Report for Pacers-Wizards: Will Pascal Siakam, Ivica Zubac Play?

The Indiana Pacers are on the road on Thursday night as they travel to take on the Washington Wizards in an Eastern Conference matchup.

Indiana enters Thursday’s game with a 15-40 record after defeating the Brooklyn Nets last Wednesday in their final game ahead of the All-Star break.

In Wednesday’s victory over the Nets, Jarace Walker led the way for the Pacers as he recorded 23 points, five rebounds and three assists while Micah Potter added 19 points and 12 rebounds of his own off the bench.

Now Indiana will try to grab another victory on the road on Thursday as they face off against a struggling Wizards team.

On the other side, Washington enters Thursday’s contest with a 14-39 record after losing on the road to the Cleveland Cavaliers last Wednesday in their last game before the All-Star break.

Kyshawn George led the way for the Cavaliers in Wednesday’s loss as he ended the game with 17 points, five rebounds and three assists while Jamir Watkins recorded 16 points and three rebounds.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Pacers Injury Report: Will Pascal Siakam, Ivica Zubac Play?

For the Pacers, they have eight players listed on their injury report, including both Pascal Siakam and Ivica Zubac.

Indiana has ruled out Siakam due to personal reasons as he will miss his second consecutive contest after he sat out the Pacers’ final game before the All-Star break due to a hamstring injury.

With Siakam sidelined, Walker and Potter, who is questionable with a left ankle sprain, may both have larger roles once again.

The Pacers have also ruled out Zubac as he continues to recover from a left ankle sprain that has kept him from making his team debut after Indiana acquired him from the Los Angeles Clippers ahead of the trade deadline.

Obi Toppin, Tyrese Haliburton and Johnny Furphy have also been ruled out as they all remain sidelined while recovering from injuries.

Aaron Nesmith has been listed as questionable due to a lumbar sprain while T.J. McConnell is questionable due to right hamstring soreness.

Wizards Injury Report: Will Alex Sarr Play?

On the other side, the Wizards have five players listed on their injury report, including center Alex Sarr.

Washington has ruled out Sarr due to a right hamstring strain as he will miss his second consecutive contest and he is expected to miss at least one more week.

With Sarr sidelined, Tristan Vukcevic and Anthony Gill could both continue to have increased roles.

The Wizards have also ruled out Anthony Davis, Trae Young and Cam Whitmore as they all continue to recover from injuries while D’Angelo Russell remains away from the team.
