Are Love Island’s Helena and Carrington still together? Where couple stand now after shock dumping

Helena and Carrington’s journey on Love Island: All Stars came to an end this week after receiving the fewest votes from the public.

The duo had a few wobbles in their relationship, with Carrington – who first appeared on season two of the American version of the show – getting to know Belle before rekindling things with Helena in the main villa. Helena even experienced a temporary “ick” and called things off for a day, only to change her mind after Carrington’s ‘sexy’ performance during the heart race challenge. Meanwhile, Carrington’s eyes wandered slightly, and he took Jessy to the secret garden.

Yet, just days before their dumping, they seemed solid – even winning the game where couples were tested on how well they know each other.

Now out of the villa, where do Helena and Carrington stand? And most importantly, are they still together?

Here’s everything we know.

Based on recent comments, Helena and Carrington are still seeing each other and appear to be navigating the post-show romance well.

Following their exit, Helena opened up about her experience on the show, admitting that much of the tension came from her own “self-sabotage”.

She explained:”He binned me off, I binned him off… I just wasn’t seeing Carrington for him. I had this narrative in my head, I thought he was this person. A lot of it is self-sabotage. I’m used to boys not treating me well, not choosing me… I think a lot of that stemmed from previous insecurities.”

Reflecting on how things have shifted since letting go of that pressure, she added: “When I took the pressure off I focussed on how much of a nice person he is, and that he brings out a soft side of me that I haven’t really had before. It’s peaceful. I know he lives in America… but I love flying. I’m here, there and everywhere. I’m not even in the UK as often as I think I am.”

The 29-year-old also shared plans for Carrington to visit her in the UK, saying: “He’s coming to the UK quite soon I think. He asked to join the girls’ trip, I said ‘absolutely not’. I said, ‘I’m doing my girls thing’. I think he’s planning on staying in London for a couple of months. We’ve got a date night planned in Utah in the summer, too – in the mountains in a cabin.” Cute!

Meanwhile Carrington confirmed that he’s happy with how things are going between them, saying: “I really like where me and Helena are at. I’ve told her plenty of times I came here to really connect with someone and I wouldn’t trade it.”

On his upcoming travel plans, he added: “Me, Zac and Yamen are getting a rental in the UK. I’ll be flying directly there with them. We’ll be able to see all of our ladies, consistently.”

Beyond their travel plans, there are other signs that things are going well between them. They’re both following each other on Instagram, and Helena looked very smitten during their interview on The Morning After podcast.

Looks like it really was second time lucky for Hels.

Love Island: All Stars airs on ITV2 at 9pm.
