Canada’s Alphonso Davis leaves Bayern Munich match with injury

Canadian Alphonso Davies was forced off the field in the 47th minute of Bayern Munich’s match against Frankfurt on Saturday.
The club’s medical staff is assessing his status.
Davies, 25, returned from an ACL tear in January and was working his way back to form ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup this summer.
Davies has spent the past eight seasons in the Bundesliga, tallying nine goals in 161 appearances. He has made 58 international appearances for Canada since 2017, scoring 15 goals, including Canada’s first-ever goal at the FIFA World Cup in 2022 against Croatia.
More to come.
