For any of us who have followed a football club for a reasonable length of time, we have all experienced bad days and bad seasons.
Relegations, cup upsets, administrations, dreadful away trips – let’s be honest, most of those are par for the course.
But we can all sympathise with Sheffield Wednesday fans this season.
Their manager and most of the players left in the summer as the fallout from Dejphon Chansiri’s ownership came to a head.

No home win all season.
One goal in the past 11 matches.
A total of 18 points deducted for financial mismanagement.
The legendary captain finally departing after over a decade to help keep the club afloat for the rest of the season.
Stuck in administration since 24 October and desperately awaiting new ownership to firstly save and then reinvigorate the club.
And to cap it all, the prospect of being sent down by your neighbours in a historic early relegation.
Yes Owls fans, we can certainly feel your pain.
