Love Island’s ‘big issue’ with villa bedroom as cast sent into midnight frenzy

The Love Island All Stars cast were faced with a huge dilemma while winding down from a day of filming.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star on behalf of Paddy Power, former Love Island star Luca Bish opened up about his time on the show back in 2025 and how he dealt with sharing a room with so many people.
He confessed: “It wasn’t too bad. The biggest issue we had was a cricket that somehow got into the villa. It was so loud we thought we weren’t going to sleep at all. They had people coming in with ladders trying to find it, couldn’t get it, so we all ended up with earplugs. That was the noisiest part.”

He also shared his thoughts on this year’s All Stars lineup and what he thinks of the Villa USA twist. When asked whether he thinks they’ve made much of a difference to the show, the former contestant replied: “Not massively if I’m honest. Anyone who was open to getting to know someone else already did, and it didn’t cause a huge stir.”
“It’s cool to see Americans come in and mix it up, but I think a bigger structural twist like Casa Amor would’ve had more impact.”
The Villa USA twist saw past American Love Island contestants enter South Africa villa as they picked a few Islanders to get to know. However, most of them have now been voted off show as only Millie’s partner Zac and Whitney’s partner Yamen remain.

Carrington and Helena were recently bootedd from the villa after the public voted for their favourite and least favourite couples. Lucinda and Sean received the most popular vote, which surprised many of the islanders after their controversial stint.
Luca weighed in and said: “They’re probably the most intense couple I’ve ever seen so quickly. It’s very puppy love energy. Sean is fully invested straight away.”

“Whether its genuine long term is something only time will tell. Lucinda’s had a lot of heat, and I don’t think that helps anyone. You’ll only really know when they’re out on the outside.”
Daily Star asked about whether he thinks Sean and Lucinda will last in the outside world and Luca responded: “Who knows. I’ve written off couples in the past who are now married or engaged, so anything can happen.”
