Everton vs Manchester United live: lineups and latest Premier League updates

That was Everton’s first win in Manchester since December 2013, when Bryan Oviedo’s late winner sunk a then Moyes-led United. They haven’t done the double over them since that season, and would’ve fancied their chances before Michael Carrick’s arrival instigated a mini-renaissance. They’ve won four and drawn one since, making them the only undefeated team in the league this calendar year.

Both teams are well-rested, having not played since Feb 10, when United drew against West Ham and Everton lost to Bournemouth at home after a Jake O’Brien red card. That means the defender sits out today, while Jack Grealish’s long-term injury lay-off continues. United are missing Matthijs de Ligt, Mason Mount and Patrick Dorgu through injury.

So, can Everton make a statement at their new home, or will United’s good form both as of late and in the blue part of Merseyside continue? Stay tuned for team news, build-up and match action!
