Blizzard conditions intensify across Philadelphia region with heavy snow and strong winds
A powerful nor’easter is bringing heavy snow and wind gusts over 50 mph to parts of the Philadelphia area and the Jersey Shore, creating dangerous blizzard conditions and near-zero visibility. Snow totals of 8 to 12 inches are expected across much of the region.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia announced on Sunday that Archdiocesan high schools and parish and regional elementary schools in the City of Philadelphia will hold a Flexible Instruction Day on Monday, February 23, 2026, due to severe weather.
