Giovanna Fletcher has revealed that she suffered a miscarriage last year after a “surprise” pregnancy.
Speaking to Emma Willis for the 300th episode of her podcast Happy Mum Happy Baby on Tuesday (24 February), the 41-year-old spoke publicly for the first time about her experience.
“I haven’t talked about it publicly, but also my response to it was very different this time.” In 2017, she first spoke about suffering a miscarriage with her first baby before going on to welcome her sons. She said she had blamed her own body at the time for “failing her”.
Fletcher explained that her own experience of talking about miscarriages on her podcast helped her process her grief.
