As expected, the Dallas Cowboys are not letting George Pickens hit the open market.
The Cowboys placed their franchise tag on Pickens on Friday, a move that had been anticipated since before Super Bowl LX earlier this month.
The two sides now have until July 15 to agree to a long-term contract or Pickens will play out the 2026 season on the tag with an estimated $28.8 million salary.
