Dianne Buswell has joked that she’s feeling ‘a bit moody’ as she shared a hilarious take on her pregnancy as she prepares to welcome her first child into the world.

The Strictly Come Dancing star is now counting down the days until she and her partner Joe Sugg meet their baby boy, having announced they were expecting a son when they revealed their pregnancy news back in September.

To announce their happy news, the former Strictly finalists, who met on the show in 2018, posted an adorable announcement video on Instagram, which was set to the iconic Elton John track, Tiny Dancer, and said: “Our little baby boy [heart emoji]. We cannot wait to meet you,” before being flooded with congratulatory messages.

The countdown is now on for Dianne to give birth and as she embraces the end of her pregnancy, the mum-to-be couldn’t help but have a bit of fun as she lip-synced to a scene from the American sitcom Friends, in which Phoebe Buffay was pregnant with triplets, while baring her blossoming baby bump.

Fans will recall that the character was facing a range of emotions before Rachel Green asked: “So Phoebs, how are those mood swings coming?” to which she replied: “I haven’t really had any yet,” prompting laugher from the audience.

“All the emotions I get every hour, on the hour,” Dianne typed across the post, which she went on to caption: “Just to clarify I’m very grateful and genuinely so excited and not sick of it !!!! but a bit of humour never goes a stray! [laughing emoji] and I love Phoebe and have always been a Phoebe [crying laughing emoji]…. plus TBH I am a bit moody at the moment that part is true [crying laughing emojis]. The question is what Friends character are you?”

And fans were quick to respond. @elaneretford said: “Hilarious! Have loved watching your [pregnancy] journey. Also a Phoebe.” @sweigh72 commented: “We have all been their lovely. I am tearful one minute and moody the next all the time but think it’s more my age than pregnancy… Sending you much love and thanks for making me smile.” @maureen.pearce4 replied: “Ah love this Dianne-just like Phoebe.” @proseccosouter added: “Love your humour, feels like you’ve been pregnant forever.”

While their son’s arrival is edging ever closer, this week, Dianne and YouTube star Joe had to confirm that she hadn’t yet given birth after they started to be flooded with congratulatory messages from their friends and family after AI photos of the couple with a baby started doing the rounds on social media.

Sharing the picture on TikTok, he said in a video: “So I woke up this morning with loads of family and friends messaging me like, ‘Oh, congrats ont the news. We thought you’d tell us first before you put it on the internet…’ This is AI. Look, that’s not me. I don’t know who that is, but it’s not me. I would take it, I’d quite like to look like that, to be honest, but that is not me. That is not me. That’s not my chin. That’s not my hair, unfortunatley.

“That’s not Dianne. That’s not our baby, but I do hope he’s that cute.” Dianne then appeared on-screen and lifting her top to bare her baby bump, she said: “And I’m still very much pregnant.” Joe added: “Yeah, he’s not here, it’s AI. AI, it’s getting scary.”

Joe also shared the post on Instagram, which he captioned: “I worry for the Facebook generation sometimes with all this AI malarkey,” with Dianne also responded to the upload: “Still very much pregnant over here.”
