FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (7News) — All lanes of Interstate 495’s Outer Loop have been shut down in Annandale, Virginia (Fairfax County) due to police activity.
The closure stretches between Gallows Road and Little River Turnpike (Route 236), according to traffic alerts.
Officials initially reported multiple lanes were blocked. An update later confirmed that all lanes in the area are now closed.
