Senators acquire forward Foegele from Kings

The Los Angeles Kings have traded forward Warren Foegele to the Ottawa Senators, according to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger.

Foegele, 29, has seven goals and nine points in 47 games with the Kings this season.

The 6-foot-2 winger is on the second season of a three-year, $10.5 million contract that carries an annual cap hit of $3.5 million. He is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the 2026-27 campaign.

Drafted 67th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in 2014, Foegele has 111 goals and 218 points in 560 career games split between the Hurricanes, Edmonton Oilers, and Kings.

Foegele set career highs with 24 goals and 46 points in 82 games with the Kings last season.
