Matchups for White House card to be announced Saturday during UFC 326

Fight fans can expect more than just the standard fisticuffs during the UFC 326 broadcast this weekend.
Dana White confirmed Thursday during the official pre-fight press conference that the organization will announce the matchups set to take place at the White House this June in Washington, D.C., on Saturday night as UFC 326 is ongoing in Las Vegas.
The UFC president also confirmed earlier in the day, during an interview with Piers Morgan, that the card will have six fights with the possibility of a seventh being added.
U.S. President Donald Trump initially proposed that the White House host a UFC event to commemorate the upcoming 250th anniversary of American independence during a July 4 speech last year.
The initial tentative target date for the one-off event was July 4, 2026, but it was later changed to June 14, which happens to be Flag Day in the U.S. and Trump’s upcoming 80th birthday.

White confirmed to Morgan that he did not require Trump to sign off on any of the matchups or athletes on the card.
“Listen, the president has more important (bleep) to deal with right now than worry about the card,” White said. “He’s a big UFC fan, and obviously he trusts me and knows that I’m gonna bring the best available card, and the best production anybody’s ever seen.”
White told Sportsnet ahead of UFC 324 in January that he envisioned the White House card “is going to be the biggest event ever done, by a long shot,” and added he expected it would surpass recent blockbuster events such as 2024’s UFC 300 or UFC 306 at the unique Sphere venue.
Ari Emanuel, the CEO of TKO Group Holdings Inc., which owns the UFC, teased some details during a February appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, saying: “At the White House, I think it’s 3,000-4,000 (spectators in attendance on or near the south lawn), and then there will be other areas (nearby where people can watch the event).”
Droves of fighters have been campaigning in recent months for a spot on the White House card, including many current titleholders such as Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje, as well as past champions like Conor McGregor and Jon Jones.
