Harrison and Edward are going to report to the Flyers’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Rizzo and Gendron are expected to join the Providence Bruins, Boston’s top farm team.
None of the quartet has ever tasted NHL ice. Harrison was taken by the Bruins in the third round of the 2021 NHL Draft. Since turning pro at the end of the 2022-23 season, he has spent his entire career with Providence. He’s having one of the best performances of his young career this season, scoring eight goals and nine assists for 17 points in 46 games.
The London, Ont. native has played in 140 regular-season games over the past four AHL seasons, scoring 19 goals and 30 assists for 49 points, with three points in two games during the 2024 Calder Cup Playoffs. He’s in the final season of his entry-level contract, which has an AAV of $902,500 and an AHL cap hit of $80,000.
Edward has split the past couple of seasons with Providence and the Maine Mariners, the Bruins’ ECHL affiliate. This year, the former London Knight has registered seven assists in 21 games with the Mariners, going pointless in nine games with Providence. In 40 AHL games, Edward has scored a goal and seven points, along with nine points in 28 ECHL contests. He’s in the second season of his ELC, which has an NHL cap hit of $831,667 and a minor-league salary of $82,500.
A former big-time scorer at the University of Denver, Rizzo has struggled to find the same touch in the pro ranks. After scoring 18 points in 46 games with the Phantoms last year, the 24-year-old has spent the entire 2025-26 campaign with the Reading Royals, the Flyers’ secondary affiliate. Rizzo is in the final season of his two-year, entry-level contract, which carries a cap hit of $925,000 and a minor-league salary of $70,000. The pending restricted free agent has arbitration rights.
Another seventh-round pick, Gendron has spent his three years as a pro with Lehigh Valley. After notching a career-best 28 points in 2024-25, the former Gatineau Olympique has posted 10 goals and 22 points in 47 games this season. He’s in the final year of his ELC, which has an NHL cap hit of $860,000 and a minor-league salary of $82,500.
