Police Scotland said the training was part of Exercise Kukri Dawn which was previously held at RAF Odiham in Hampshire in England.
A spokesperson said: “Exercises are a crucial way for different organisations to learn, share knowledge and work well together.
“It’s important for exercises to be as realistic as possible to fully test a multi-agency response.
“In real life, this could save lives and prevent further injuries.”
Police Scotland said stadium staff had notified residents in the surrounding area of the training.
