Getafe preview: Famous win

That famous win for Getafe came in a derby against Real Madrid whereby Jose Bordalas’ side managed to snatch a 1-0 victory at the Bernabeu, courtesy of a speculator volley scored by Martin Satriano in the first-half.

The home team have now won three of their last four matches in La Liga as they begin the match day sitting just three points outside of the top eight and the potential European spots in La Liga.

Real Betis preview: Infamous draw

That infamous draw for Real Betis came in El Gran Derbi against Sevilla as Los Verdiblancos succumbed to sharing the spoils 2-2 against their arch-rivals at La Cartuja in a game in which they were 2-0 up.

Manuel Pellegrini has received a lot of criticism from that game but Betis have been impressive once again this season as they sit tucked inside the top five ahead of this match day in Spain’s top-flight.

Getafe vs Real Betis prediction

Domestic matters may be taking a back seat for Betis, though, with last season’s UEFA Europa Conference League runners’ up facing Panathinaikos in the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League this midweek. Getafe, with their form and their home advantage, will fancy exploiting that potential Betis distraction and siding with the hosts may well be a good bet for this one in the Community of Madrid.

Getafe vs Real Betis tip: Double chance – Getafe to win or draw & under 3.5 goals
