India all-rounder Hardik Pandya introduced Gautam Gambhir to his girlfriend, Mahieka Sharma, before the 2026 T20 World Cup final. The players and coaches were on their way to Ahmedabad when Pandya finally introduced his girlfriend to the head coach. Gambhir’s look after meeting Mahieka is viral on X. Mahieka has been attending India’s matches regularly. But the wives and girlfriends of players weren’t allowed to stay with them during the early phase of the tournament. The BCCI has now seemingly changed its stance as the family members of players were spotted in the stands during the semi-final against England.
