The Miami Dolphins are sending defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick to the New York Jets in exchange for a seventh-round pick, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The pick going to Miami in the deal reportedly originally belonged to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Fitzpatrick – a five-time Pro Bowler – will sign a three-year, $40-million contract extension with the Jets, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told Schefter.
