Titans to sign TE Daniel Bellinger, reuniting him with Brian Daboll

The Tennessee Titans continue to be active during the NFL’s legal tampering period, and they continue to do business with the New York Giants. This time, the Titans will reunite offensive coordinator Brian Daboll with tight end Daniel Bellinger, who was drafted by the Giants in 2022.

Bellinger is a big tight end who rarely drops a pass, catching 83% of the balls tossed his way over four seasons. Last season, Bellinger caught 19 passes for 286 yards (an average of 15.1 yards per catch) and two touchdowns. He’s not a huge stat producer, but he will play a big role in protecting Cam Ward and helping open up running lanes.

Daboll had just been hired by the Giants when he drafted Bellinger, and he obviously likes what the young tight end brings to the table. The signing won’t be made official until the opening of the regular season at 3:00 p.m. CST on March 11, but adding Bellinger to the Titans’ tight ends room definitely boosts the offense.
