Titans agreed to terms with ex-New York Giants TE Daniel Bellinger

The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with tight end Daniel Bellinger, formerly of the New York Giants, reports NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
The move marks the end of Bellinger’s tenure in New York, where he had been a fourth-round pick in 2022.

Bellinger entered free agency after his rookie contract expired following the 2025 season. In that final year with the Giants, he started 10 of 16 games, playing 555 offensive snaps. He posted career highs with 19 receptions for 286 yards, averaging 15.1 yards per catch—an improvement from 8.9 the prior year—and scored two touchdowns.
While Bellinger’s production showed growth as a pass-catcher, the Giants opted not to bring him back.
Instead, the team addressed the tight end position by agreeing to a three-year deal with Isaiah Likely, adding a proven pass-catching option with experience in dynamic roles. They also re-signed veteran Chris Manhertz to a one-year contract, valuing his elite blocking ability.
Manhertz, who played all 17 games in 2025 with strong run-blocking contributions and special teams work, provides continuity as a reliable inline presence.

From the Giants’ perspective, these additions solidify the tight end group, prioritizing blocking stability and pass-catching upside over retaining Bellinger. The former Giant now gets a fresh start in Tennessee, where he can compete for snaps and potentially expand his role.
