Report: Giants Expected to Sign Former Ravens DB Ar’Darius Washington

Jordan Schultz reports that the Giants are expected to sign former Ravens cornerback Ar’Darius Washington to a one-year deal in free agency.
The list of former Ravens heading to New York continues to grow, and Jordan Schultz reports that the Giants are expected to sign former Ravens cornerback Ar’Darius Washington to a one-year deal in free agency. The Ravens have undergone an offseason of change, including a new head coach, offensive coordinator, and defensive coordinator, as well as key personnel departing. While the franchise won’t undergo a complete rebuild, there have been critical losses on Monday, and an overhaul has been made at key positions. Eric DeCosta should have plenty of draft capital to help reload.
While the Ravens’ depth chart lists Washington as the backup strong safety behind Kyle Hamilton, he’s been a key contributor at other positions in the defensive backfield and will offer the Giants elite versatility. Washington made his 2025 debut in Week 15 after he tore his Achilles tendon during conditioning in May. Washington worked his way back into a rotational role and could earn a starting position with John Harbaugh in New York.
