A 14-year-old boy has died after a crash involving an electric motorbike and a car that also saw a 15-year-old boy sustain serious injuries.
Derbyshire Police said Finley Dawson was riding the motorbike in Newbold Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, with a 15-year-old passenger at about 20:30 GMT on Thursday when it collided with a Kia Sportage.
The force said the boys were thrown into the road and were taken to hospital, where Dawson died on Friday. The pillion passenger remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Officers said no arrests had been made and the driver of the Kia was being treated as a witness.
