SEPTA’s Market-Frankford Line service impacted by blown transformer in Center City

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — SEPTA is investigating a blown transformer that disrupted service on the Market-Frankford Line on Wednesday afternoon.
The issue started around 3 p.m. at the 15th Street/City Hall Station.
Chopper 6 was overhead as smoke could be seen rising from the entrance to the platform.
No injuries have been reported.
Shuttle buses are currently operating in place of Market Frankford Line trains between Spring Garden Station and 30th Street Station.
Broad Street Line trains are running but are bypassing City Hall Station until further notice.
