Some people seem really unhappy with the Marty Supreme star

Is opera just for old people, or can anyone enjoy it?

Do you think ballet is too fancy, or are you impressed by the dancers’ strength and skill?

Maybe you think a little bit of both.

Well, Hollywood actor Timothée Chalamet made a lot of people upset when he shared his opinions about opera and ballet recently.

Chalamet made the comments during a town hall event in late February with fellow actor Matthew McConaughey.

He said: “I don’t want to be working in ballet or opera, or you know, things where it’s like, ‘Hey, keep this thing alive,’ even though it’s like, no one cares about this anymore.”

We wanted to know what kids thought: do they care about ballet and opera, or do they think Chalamet made a good point?

So we asked some kids and teens in Toronto, Ontario.
