There’s an entire day to celebrate Michigan’s hippest zip code? Indeed. And activities are planned throughout the D to mark 313 day.
313 Day at Belle Isle Park
The Belle Isle Conservancy is inviting Detroiters and visitors to celebrate 313 Day at Belle Isle Park with a full day of free activities, music, art, and programming. There will be music and extended hours at the Belle Isle Nature Center and Dossin Great Lakes Museum.
One of the big events is the reopening of the Belle Isle Casino from 6-8 p.m. after $4.7 million in restorations.
There will also be music at the Flynn Pavilion.
Shinola event
Shinola is teaming up with Soho House to celebrate the city with an afternoon gathering at the Shinola Canfield Store. From 3:13–6:13 PM, the flagship store will turn into a mini Detroit celebration with live performances from local artists including Charity Croff, Sheefy McFly, and Abu Qadim Haqq, plus a few additional surprise guests. The event is open to the public, and guests can RSVP here.
313 Day of Service
Members of the Detroit Caucus are hosting a 313 Day Service Project from 12-4 p.m. at Detroit Animal Care and Control Unit, 1431 Ferry St. in Detroit. A donation drive will start at noon with members’ staff and Detroit Caucus legislators helping care for animals and making treats from 1-4 p.m.

Restaurants and stores across Metro Detroit are offering special deals for 313 Day. That includes The Brakeman and Chik-fil-A.
McDonald’s is bringing back Detroit’s iconic 313 Day on March 13, featuring a Double Filet-O-Fish, 4-piece Chicken McNuggets, fries and a medium Boston Cooler – a nod to some of the city’s most beloved treats. The meal is available March 9 through March 13.
313 t-shirts
Detroiters can also show their city pride with a limited-edition 313 Day t-shirt designed by Detroit creative Allison Sims. The shirts will be available at participating Detroit-area McDonald’s restaurants to guests who order the 313 Day Meal on March 13 only, while supplies last.
313 Day at Valade Park
All things 313 will be part of a special celebration at Valade Park on the Detroit Riverfront.
There will be food, music, and interactive activities for kids. At 6 p.m., We Run 313 will host a 3.13-mile run along the Riverfront.

The Detroit Institute of Arts is offering 31.3% off items purchased online only.
The Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores, meanwhile, is offering $3.13 off grounds admission.
