Bomb threat reported at Shannon Library, University of Virginia police say

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WSET) — The University of Virginia Police Department said a bomb threat had been reported at the Shannon Library on Friday.

Officials went to Facebook at 10:49 a.m. and said to avoid the area at the Shannon Library located on 160 McCormick Road.
In an update at 10:51 a.m., officials said that the Shannon Library is being evacuated.
University police are on scene investigating and evacuating Shannon Library.
Officials are asking the public to evacuate Shannon and Clemons Library and avoid the area.
