Dolphins sign WR with 1,000 career receiving yards

The Miami Dolphins, after moving on from Tyreek Hill and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine this offseason, the team signed Tutu Atwell on Thursday to help fill out the wide receiver room.

However, Miami isn’t done, as NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported on Friday that the team is signing Jalen Tolbert as well.

Tolbert, 27, played collegiately at South Alabama from 2017-21, earning Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year in 2021 and All-Sun Belt honors in his final two years.

The Dallas Cowboys took Tolbert in the third round (No. 88 overall) of the 2022 NFL draft, and over the last four years, he’s appeared in 55 games and started 30 while recording 91 receptions for 1,093 yards and 10 touchdowns.

He joins Atwell, Jaylen Waddle, Malik Washington, Tahj Washington, Theo Wease, Terrace Marshall and A.J. Henning in Miami’s receiver room.
