The Red Bull Showrun will be heading to Phoenix for a special one-off event March 14.
In downtown from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Red Bull and Racing Bulls will showcase the Formula One Red Bull racing car as well as other Red Bull motorsport vehicles.
Here are some things you will need to know before heading down to the showcase.
Street closures
Jefferson Street, from Third Street to Fifth Street, as well as the surrounding blocks, will be closed starting in the early morning of March 14 and continuing well into the evening, according to the city.
With freeway closures across the Valley and street closures in downtown Phoenix, attendees were encouraged to prepare for traffic delays and extended travel times.
Parking
Phoenix recommends that those attending the event plan ahead and reserve parking via the ParkPHX website.
Light rail service
The Valley Metro light rail service will also be affected, as the station at Jefferson Street and Third Street will be closed March 14, according to the city.
Riders were advised to use the Downtown Phoenix Hub, as well as the Washington Street stations at Third Street, for both east- and westbound travel.
